25 Days of Christmas......Chrissy style!

Chrissy is our 10 year old pek-a-poo.....who does not really believe she is a dog. Whenever another dog is around, she will avoid eye contact with them. She just doesn't even acknowledge that other dogs exist. Except for the greyhound next door to us...Lady. Her and Lady are BFF's!

Chrissy loves Christmas! She was named for Christmas.......because she was my present from Johnny 10 years ago. She came to live with us on Christmas eve and it was actually snowing! So I named her Little Missy Chrissy! My mom got a shitz zhu (sp) that same year and named him Milo (for the millennium), my brother got a lab that Christmas and named him Chestnut and my sister got a lab too and named her Millie (for the millennium) So we all have 10 year old Christmas dogs!

Chrissy is very, very OCD about lights. She would rather chase after a flashlight beam than eat a steak! When I say very, very.....well, that doesn't even describe it. We have to hide our flashlights or she just goes nuts barking at them. So when the Christmas lights come out, she is in heaven! And pretty much stays under the Christmas tree until I start loading it up with presents.

Presents are another thing she loves. We have to wrap her presents as she loves tearing into them. But we cannot put them under the tree as she will sniff them out. We have to wait until Christmas morning.

We came home from work today and found Chrissy a little under the weather. I'm not sure what is wrong with her......just droopy, only laying down, when you pick her up she cries. We may have to do a vet visit this weekend.

later....

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi so I could discover yours.

I love your Chrissie. I have an almost 16 year old Peke along with 3 three pooches. I know the joy.

I hope she feels better soon!
