my first post for 2008!
a very laid back day......with a little cooking. We're having pork chops (fat chops that I cook all day long in a low oven and they just fall apart) also having the traditional black eyed peas for good luck (we ARE southern) and cabbage for prosperity. I'm also fixing sauteed mushrooms and cornbread.....again, we ARE southern!
It stopped raining and I stopped shopping so I rode my new pink bike today! I love it. I was wondering while I rode it if I looked silly....I had my Polo big cape on and my hair up....so I was kind of laughing thinking maybe I looked like that witch from the Wizard of Oz when she rode that bike in the sky.....oh well, I had fun.
And now it's back to work tomorrow..everything returns to normal. I'm about ready to go back to work but I'm not ready to get up at 6:00 am. I have been loving sleeping late! oh well......

Happy New Year!
Our plans for New Year's Eve were the same as yours... We celebrated with NYC, because we couldn't stay up until midnight Dallas time. And yet, I don't feel like I missed out on anything!
