Vacation, part 1 ...

We went down to the Outer Banks of NC for a week

on Sept 14th. September is one of my favorite times

of the year to go down there. First, the weather is usually perfect,

the water is the warmest and it's not very crowded since school

has started in most counties.

 

Also along for the fun was our kids and grandkids, my parents and

our daughter's mother-in-law.

 

We only had 2 days that we could not go out on the beach...one due

to rain and the other due to high winds.

 

And since this blog is my family journal, there will be a ton of pictures and

probably about 8 post to get them all in. There will be Declan overload pictures too! Because you know, you just can't stop taking pictures of a cute baby.

 

So here we go.........

Not many people can rock Declan to sleep but

Uncle Jake did!

 

 

Getting some love from Aunt Nicole.....and that is not

a bow on his shirt! haha.....it's a bow tie but a little wrinkled up!
