I did watch Jon and Kate last night.......even though I already knew what the annoucement would be.
I am a big believer in marriage and was blessed to have married a man I love who has the same thoughts. We take our vows very seriously.
So it is very sad to see their marriage fail.
I really don't like hearing people put them down because no one knows except for the 2 of them.
and yes, they put their family out there but if I had that many kids and had the opportunity, I can't say I wouldn't have done it. I still think they are good people so folks need to stop bad mouthing them.
just my thought.......
later...........

I so agree. I did not watch it because I knew they were splitting and it would have made me cry. I think it is a shame marriage is not given the respect it deserves. Poor Kate and Poor Jon. Though I will say it looks like he is enjoying the idea of being "single". I mean, buying a nice new condo in NYC so far away from his kids. I think there must be so much more to their situation than the show tells us. I just feel for them both and for the kids.
I watched it, too. And it saddened me. I already knew the outcome, too, but I'm such an eternal optimist, I was hoping that they were going to say that they were going to do their best to put their pieces back together.
I agree wih you. I did not watch the show and don't know the details, but does anyone really? "You never really know what goes on before closed doors."
I wish my marriage had lasted but I couldn't deal anymore when we split. :(
I knew the outcome also so I couldnt bring myself to watch it :( It saddens me as well. That poor family.
