Any suggestions please......

When my MIL passed away year ago and my husband and his sister's cleaned out her house, they found all of this mis-matched silver. My in-laws used to love to go to yard sales and try to find good silver and old coins.

these silver pieces are beautiful but I just don't know what to do with them. I've been cleaning the pices up...........I have a bunch just in a glass ice bucket. And see that pic of the 2 pieces....what in the world is that one piece? I think the other is maybe for tea bags but not sure of that either.

anyone have any suggestions on how I could display these beautiful pieces?

later.............

Thank you for your sweet comment- I agree and pity those people as well!!

As for the beautiful silverwear, I have seen people display them in apothecary jars in their kitchen and tie them with a ribbon and adhere them to an empty picture frame with a pretty background. I kind of did that to some old American Girl doll silverwear and I'm currently displaying them on my writing desk.

Good luck, that silverwear is gorgeous!

I just love those silver pieces. I would definitely put them somewhere that people can enjoy looking at them. And that one piece is very interesting; never seen one like it.

Have a great Wednesday!

i have seen people just wrap some pretty ribbon around a bunch of them and set them all over. check out blondie n sc on my blogroll. she puts them like that in her etsy shop.

what about shadow boxing them? Take like 3 of your favorites and mount them on a pretty black piece or red piece of velvet and frame?

Ive seen it done, its beautiful!
