that's what my little Chrissy girl has in her rear knee.....a bad tear at that! Her rear anterior cruciate ligament is torn and she's not a happy little doggie! They had to muzzle her as she would not let the doc have anything to do with checking her knee....with the muzzle, she gave up and just laid down.
The doc said a lot of time dogs that weigh less than 15 lbs can heal without surgry...by getting injections twice a week for 4 weeks. So we going to try that....and if that doesn't work, she'll need surgery. I can only imagine what that would cost!
She got her first injection in the knee this evening and tried to bit the doc! Now we will go every Monday and Thursday....$22 bucks per injecton. But that's ok...she's my baby.

Those shots are hella cheaper than surgery. Sprout has had both kness done you know and we used aspecialsit in the area. Let me know if you need his name. He and his staff are awesome! I'm so sorry she's in pain. Make sure she gets plenty of rest!

I hope the shots will do it for her... both less expensive and less painful for her! do you see improvement right away?
you know....after just one shot we have already seen improvements. Now we go today for another....yikes, I hope she's a good girl and doesn't try to bite the nurse!
