The way to live life....

I have a small table that sits by my recliner in the den.
I keep current magazines, pens, lotion, tissues and a little notebook on that table.
And in that notebook, I jot down things to remember, ideas I might have....or recipes, web addresses...stuff like that.
So I was flipping through the notebook this evening and found where I wrote the following.......

"There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all of the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that  you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy!"

Now I can't remember if I copied that down, if I came up with it on my own or if someone told it to me!
But I love it!
And it's funny that I came across it because just recently I decided that is exactly how I feel about someone that has been in my life.
so here's me.....no drama, all laughs.....Just Enjoying Life!

later........

It was because of a notebook you left out in your house where you wrote notes to and about the kids that I did the same. I was so impressed by that idea and could see the value of it.

I have a notebook in my den that we all write in. We share things about each other that we think is special - we share times when we're hurting - funny things, etc. Others who come to visit will pick up the book, read thru it and then stop to add a note of their own.
If I had to take only one thing with me out of my house that couldn't be replaced (other than my family), I'd take that book. It means that much to me.

What a great idea! I love Tina's family journal too! Life's too short for unneeded drama so keep living your life!! You have a good one...so keep it up!

You wrote that, and I think I remember exactly when you wrote it! They surely are words to live by!

What a true statement that is. And a good reminder for all! Thank you for stopping by my blog and entering the giveaway. I'll be back to peruse your blog some more. We seem to have a lot in common.
