I was out and about today...no particular things in mind to buy but it was "tax free" weekend so I thought I would get out and see what was on sale.
I found a couple of cute shirts marked 70% off....you know I had to buy em.
then I was leaving the mall through JCPenny and went through the home department...never a good idea. And there they were......the dishes I had been drooling over ever since they came out. It's the American Heritage series that Penny's has. And they were 70% off!! yes...70% off. I had to get them....70% off. I mixed them up.......got 4 of the white plates, 4 of the blue, 4 red mugs, 4 blue...blue pitcher. I did not get bowls because I have so many but I am thinking of going back tomorrow...maybe.
Anyway, here's a pic. And also a pic of a bowl of oranges on my counter. The sunlight was hitting the oranges and making the color so bright and the way it hit m fav blue bowl....just had to snap a picture.

I guess I'm due for shopping myself, and with fall coming, i was thinking of some pretty fall tableware.

But I can't think about fall coming....not yet. Still enjoying my sunshine and long summer days! You can keep me updated when fall really hits because sometimes we don't know it here because we don't have the leaves changing until maybe November when it's starts to cool down.
