Christmas decorations ....

here's a few of my decorations throughout the house
not sure that they look much different than
previous years but I like to document on my blog
each year. I need to take some pictures outside
at night of Johnny's crazy decorations....haha

below is a bowl of Christmas balls that are probably
about 60 years old....they were from Johnny's Christmas tree
when he was a child. They are so fragile that I don't dare
put them on the tree...so afraid they would fall and break

little Norfolk Island pine for the kitchen island

have to have a little Christmas in the half bathroom

Operation Krank .... again

back in December of 2011 we "Kranked" our
youngest sisters house while they were out of town
for the holidays
we drug out decorations and decorated their
house as tacky as possible.
just like in the movie The Kranks, they had decided not to
decorate for Christmas but to skip Christmas
and head out to the Dominican Republic

So when we heard that our brother was going out of town
for a wedding and more than likely had not decorated
for Christmas, we decided to help him out
and this time we went through Momma's old Christmas
decorations to take over there.

what fun we had laughing and imagining his
funny remarks.....here are a few pics

haha....no paper towels but it got a ribbon
and I don't know why we tied a spoon to it....
also tied ribbons to a bunch of things in his fridge

ribbons on everything!

we wanted him to know that Momma was probably laughing with us

just reminding him to dust before Santa comes

To say that I don't worry about the revenge would
be an understatement....haha

Another grand baby.....

Our oldest daughter Nicole and her fiancee Tyler
were expecting a baby girl.....and were scheduled to go
in to the hospital on Monday, Nov 30th for a scheduled c-section

But on Sunday about 1:30 in the morning, that little baby girl
decided she was coming on her own, no c-section for her!!

and so on Sunday morning, Miss Lorraine Leona McKearin
made her debut
7 lbs 10 oz and 21.5 inches long
she's sweet, looks just like Nicole did as a baby
and a head full of hair.
her parents are thrilled, her brothers are excited
and our entire family is so happy to welcome another baby to our lives
beyond blessed....

Lorraine on the left and her mommy Nicole on the right
I think they look very much alike

so now we have 4 grandsons and 2 grandaughters
how exciting
